Delivery Information

 We understand you want your cake to arrive in perfect condition. That's why we've developed bespoke packaging and partnered with trusted delivery experts to ensure your order arrives safely.

All our cakes are freshly baked and sealed with sugarpaste fondant, which keeps them fresh for up to 7 days at room temperature. We recommend scheduling delivery at least two days before your event.

 How We Package Your Cake

 Your cake's journey begins with our custom-designed packaging. Each cake is gift-wrapped and protected by a cake collar inside a made-to-measure box. We also use protective air bags for extra security.

Please note: If your cake includes delicate sugar decorations (e.g., flowers, characters), these will be wrapped separately. You'll need to place them on the cake yourself, but no decorating experience is necessary!

Our outer boxes feature a convenient carry-handle to ensure your cake can be handled safely during transit. 

Delivery Partners

We use DHL, a leading courier service in the UK, for all our deliveries. They are experts in handling a wide range of goods, and our special partnership ensures they are trained to handle your cake with care. Every cake is delivered directly from us to your door.

You'll receive a text or email from the courier with a one-hour delivery window. You can use this to select a safe place, a neighbour, or a DHL pick-up shop as your delivery option. Please note that we do not recommend using a pick-up shop as this can delay delivery.

If a safe place option is selected, the driver will leave the cake in a secure location, like a porch or garage, and leave a card to let you know where it is.

Damaged Cake

Should your cake unfortunately arrive damaged, please contact us immediately so we can help resolve the issue.

Late Delivery

If your cake is late, you can contact DHL directly with your shipment number and postcode for an update. Their customer service number is 02476 937770. You can also contact us during working hours, and we'll be happy to assist.

If you paid for a guaranteed, timed service and your cake arrives late, we will refund the delivery charge. We are unable to refund the cost of the cake itself.

For standard, free deliveries, we cannot offer refunds or compensation for late arrivals. While 98% of deliveries arrive on time, we always recommend scheduling delivery at least one or two working days before your event to account for unforeseen delays, especially during busy periods like Christmas or Black Friday.
